Distinguished Flying Cross; 1939-1945 Star; Air Crew Europe Star; Defence Medal; Canadian Voluntary Service Medal, with Overseas clasp; War Medal 1939-1945; Jubilee 1953; Canadian Decoration, E.II.R., mounted as worn, the third with additional Air Crew Europe clasp, a little polished, very fine, together with the recipient's Mess Dress, both jacket and trousers, with named attribution (Lot)

Livingston 'Cap' Foster flew Spitfires in 403, 416 and 421 Squadrons, including service alongside Air Vice Marshal J. E. 'Johnny' Johnson. He retired from the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1967 in the rank of Squadron Leader and died in Ottawa in 2003. A sportsman of some repute, he was a college champion in track and field, was a scratch golfer for many years, playing at the German Open and racing powerboats in his later years.
