Richard Dalton Thorne was born at Pontypridd on 23 August 1918 and married Gracie Hughes in Anglesey, North Wales in 1941. Also a veteran of the 1939-45 War, he died on 30 October 1979, aged 61, when living at 48 Llanfawr Road, Anglesey.
