George T. Robertson, a native of Perth, enlisted in the 72nd Highlanders in 1868. A short biographical entry appears in the Marchioness of Tullibardine's A Military History of Perthshire 1899-1902 (R. A. & J. Hay, Perth, 1908), together with a portrait photograph. The former confirms his entitlement to the above described Medals & clasps and states that he was discharged in 1889.
