(x) India General Service 1895-1902, 4 clasps, Punjab Frontier 1897-98, Samana 1897, Tirah 1897-98, Relief of Chitral 1895, bronze issue (Doolybearer Jangaly Venkataswamy C.T. Dept.), clasps mounted in this order, extremely fine

Sold with an original hand-written note, signed by Captain A. W. Wilson, 44th Gurkhas, and dated 18 July 1900, which states:

'Certified that the bronze medal with clasps for Relief of Chitral, Tirah, Samana '97 and Punjab Frontier which belonged to Doolybearer Jangaly Ven-katawamy, Commissariat & Transport Dept is genuine.'
