#32, 1889 2P Dull violet tied along with 20c Yellow green (#29), 5c Orange pair (#27), 2c Dark green strip of five (#26) and 1c Brown strip of five (#25) by light San Jose pmks. on 1891 registered cover to Germany, additional 1c and 2c (two) values on back tied by pen, New Orleans and New York transits, Hanover receiver, faint vertical file fold just affect the 2P value, fine; not only this an impressive five color franking, but it is one of only two recorded examples of the 2P value used on cover.
