SBK #8a, 1845 2½r Black, light blue and carmine, a splendid marginal example from the bottom of the sheet, uniformly large margins on other three sides, originating from the 39 position in the sheet of 40 and featuring "white dot above the tail" constant plate flaw which is characteristic of this position, boasting the attractive combination of the three colors which are remarkably bright, good embossing, of great desirability possessing full original gum, this being an extraordinary characteristic; superb, one of the most beautiful single unused examples available of this highly desirable and iconic stamp of worldwide philately; 1996 Von der Weid and Abt certificates (SBK CHF25,000+).
