Hellrigl #7b var., 1886-89 1a Dark blue, early printings on native paper of good quality, imperforate, setting 8, position 37, unused without gum as issued, a lovely single with deep rich color, well centered within extraordinarily large margins, showing progressive plate flaw of long diagonal scratch in left frame, this flaw first appeared in this setting, extremely fine (Scott #7 var.; S.G. 7 var.; £140+).
