#C11, 10c Green, 6 March 1920, Third Flight, cover (upper back flap missing) to New York, flown from Cartagena to Barranquilla and then carried by maritime means to United States, franked by 1920 10c green tied by “CCNA/Cartagena” oval handstamp, with additional franking of 5 centavos to pay the national postage, tied by “Correo Aéreo./Cartagena-Colombia.” c.d.s., opened tear at base on front and couple of creases affecting the adhesive, of no importance for this unique item; this commercial cover does not only represent a very rare usage on the first day of issue, with only three covers known from this flight, but also the only cover known, bearing this issue, addressed to a destination outside Colombia, these comments clearly confirming the considerable significance and desirability of this cover; Rendon certificate;
