Russia, outstanding mint collection, comprising over thousand stamps contained in one stockbook, the classic period including #1 unused with pen-cancellation removed, #3 & #4 used, 1864 fourth issue set of three mint, 1864 1k essay inscribed "Proba", following with 1889-1905 Arms issues with varieties and better high denominations, revolutionary overprints on Romanov values in multiples, few Civil War issues with the most significant item being a pane of 25 from South Russia with double overprint, Russian Levant with few values including 1903-05 70pi on 7r corner block of four with "Obrazets" specimen perforation, RSFSR including a wide range of varieties in the definitive issues to be accurately inspected, USSR featuring various issues with better perforations, imperforates, various 1937 Pushkin souvenir sheets apparently printed on the gummed side and with paper adherences, air post official stamps including 1200m on 10k, postage dues, exchange control issues with the most valuable being a 1k on 1r imperforate at top, etc, the great majority in very fine state of preservation, a valuable lot worthy of accurate inspection.
