French Colonies postal history lot containing approximately 175 items, including postal stationery mainly unused with scarce exotic territories, French P.O.'s with La Canea and Constantinople, Algeria with also early franked usages and 1833 stampless military mail during the conquest of this territory, group of airmails from Indochina, Tahiti with 5c used stationery journal wrappers, African, Oceania and West-Indies territories with appealing commemorative-issue frankings also including censorship, Madagascar with an interesting group featuring Type Groupe 5fr single, France used at Tamatave and Diego Suarez, Zanzibar with scarce 1894 stationery card sent to Germany, French Congo with scarce Type-Groupe issue in three-color franking, Martinique with very early mail in 1792 and French-Colonies usage with 1872-77 25c pair on cover to France, stampless letters from Guadeloupe, French Guiana represented in early entire with "Guyane Francaise" straight-line, Cilicia includes one franked parcel card and scarce registered cover with "Merson" 5pi on 40c in mixed franking with "T.E.O." overprinted 5pi on 40c, etc., fine-very fine, a comprehensive and attractive assembly, certainly worthy of inspection.
