1855-61 two stampless covers to France via Panama sent from Papeete, the earlier, an envelope with full contents, endorsed "Voie de Panama et d'Angleterre" with scarce "Panama-Transit" straight-line handstamp, charged with "21" due cachet, the other carried via Valparaiso-Panama-London with dispatch c.d.s. on back, Anglo-French "GB/2f87c" accountancy marking and three-line datestamp of Panama, both backstamped on arrival, a very scarce duo.
