#7, 1855 10d Blue on thin paper, a wonderful mint example of this rare Pence issue, boasting numerous desirable physical characteristics, including showing the dot after "cy" from the first vertical column, plus its margins are uncharacteristically large, the color is intense and the impression could rival that of a proof, it also displays a remarkable overall freshness which belies its age, while the reverse reveals full clean original gum, extremely fine; a finer mint single would be a challenge to locate;
