#69 Footnote, 5c-1B 1924 Coat of Arms, the complete set of all seven values as prepared but never place on sale in the Canal Zone because of the abrogation of the Taft Agreement which required the Canal Zone to use overprinted Panamanian stamps, all with vivid fresh colors, original gum which is slightly disturbed as usual, a fine-very fine set which is actually very rare; of the 600 stamps of each denomination overprinted and returned to Panama for distribution to U.P.U. members only a small number actually reached the public market and the remainder were destroyed; only twelve complete sets are recorded by the Canal Zone Study Group.
