1845 30r black, type II, intermediate impression, slightly cut into on two sides, otherwise ample margins, on up to half ounce cover dated January 31, 1850 from Rio Grande carried by the ''Imperatriz'' to Rio de Janeiro, tied by red c.d.s. on dispatch, some manuscript notations by the addressee which are not related to the postal aspects, and repaired opening tear affecting the two stamps at the left side of the block, of little significance for this issue on cover, less than ten covers are believed to exist bearing a block of four of this value; 2010 Moorhouse certificate; RHM 5;
