1844 30r black, type II, intermediate impression, two pairs showing good margins except for one stamp just being touched at base, paying the single maritime rate on reverse of cover endorsed "Acomp. Cargas pelo Vapor Fluminense" from Rio de Janeiro to Santos, tied by "Correio Geral da Corte" c.d.s. with indistinct date, the franking, following the usual tendency, was torn on opening and has been repaired, one of only about ten covers recorded bearing four examples of this value; 2010 Moorhouse certificate; RHM 5.
