Fabulous highly duplicated old-time collection of many thousands of used, unused and mint nineteenth to mid-twentieth century singles and multiples mounted on quardilled pages in five binders, much of the value can be found in the highly duplicated used, especially among the nineteenth century, including New York postmaster provisionals (5) and a pair, 1847 5c (17) and 10c (9), 1851 1c (35) and thee pairs, and 12c (20) and five pairs, strong 1857s with 1c (45) including examples of Ty. 1a, Ty. III, TY. IIIa and TY. IV, 5c (24) including three Brick red Ty. I, 10c (38) including Ty. I (6), 12c (21), plus three pairs, a strip of three and one with red Honolulu datestamp, 24c (17) and 30c (5), numerous 1861 issues with 10c "August" (3), 5c Buff (8), 5c Red brown (7), 12c (30), 15c (18), 24c shades (77) with around ten are Steel blue, 30c (33) and 90c (19), many 1867 grills such a 3c "C" grill, "E" grills with 12c (10) and 15c (8), "F" grills with 5c (9), 10c (17), 12c (24), 15c (20), 24c (7), 30c (10) and 90c (11), ample 1869s with 1c (15), 6c (22) and a pair, 10c (36), 12c (40), 15c (38), 24c (16), 30c (21) and 90c (6), then there is an entire album devoted to just the Ban Notes, including grilled 1c (16), 6c (10), 7c (8), 10c (4), 12c, 15c (8), 30c (3) and 90c, plus there are many NYFM and other fancy cancels, as well as interesting multiples among the later issues, then quantities start to thin out with the Bureau issues, which include both the unwatermarked and watermarked sets complete, the 1902 issue is also complete, then most Washington-Franklins including coils, and ending with the 1938 Presidentials, then air mails with #C1-2 and C6 blocks, a set of Graf Zeppelin flown covers, the $2.65 being a first day cover, plus and extra $1.30 cover, C13-14, the Officials are nearly complete, then PR31 (2) and Offices in China cplt. and some CSA, the mint or unused is somewhat mixed in with the used, but we found #10X1, 4, 9, 19, 35 (2), 37, 38, 39, 40, 42, 64b, 67, 76 (3), 100, 102, 116 (2), 117, 118 (5), 120, 127 (2), 128, 130, 139, 140, 145 and block of four, 145-55 with duplicates of some, 159 block of six, 182-91 (2) except 187, Small Bank Notes cplt., 248-63, 264-77, 300-09 (2) and 1c-5c blocks, 331-42, 374-82, 414-23, 424-40, 460, 462-76, 477, 479-80, 505 double error in a block of twelve, 551-73 and ending with the Presidentials, air mails include C1-6, C2 block and arrow block, C3 block, C4-6 blocks, the Special Deliveries, Parcel Post cplt. with 2c-5c and 25c Blocks, Newpapers with PR1, PR2 (2), PR3 (2), PR4, PR6-7 and PR81-89, Postage Dues with J15-21, J22-28 and J31-37, Offices in China complete, and some Confederate States including #11 imprint block of 40, the fifth and last volume is commemoratives mint and used, with used $1.00 (2), $2.00 (3), $3.00 (3), $4.00 (2) and $5.00 Columbians as well as a complete mint set, etc., rather mixed condition, especially the 19th century, ranging from defective to extremely fine, so plan to spend at least several hours to view this very valuable extensive collection in which you will find much cancel interest and likely good finds among the types and shades.
