#24a, 1868 2 Green on watermarked paper, well centered horizontal strip of three, right stamp with slight faults at top from placement close to cover edge, showing almost full "CLUTHA" of the watermark, tied by light strike of 11 October 1869 RPO datestamp to cover to Strathroy, Ontario, backstamped on arrival the same day, strip removed from cover for examination and hinged back in place, very fine and exceedingly rare usage paying the double rate; one of only two recorded watermarked strips of three on cover;
