"Paid/At/Nevis" crowned circle, harmoniously and neatly struck in red at top right of August 29, 1855 folded letter, with corresponding Nevis double-arc datestamp on reverse, clearly handstamp but erroneously applied in black, instead of red as stipulated by postal rules, rated "4" in purple ink, one of the finest examples of this very rare postmark; S.G. CC1, £4,500.
