"Montserrat" straight-line postmark, second type, 39x3½mm, centrally struck at top of June 11, 1796 folded letter to London, showing the manuscript 1 shilling rate at upper left with, on reverse, neat July 26 c.d.s., very fine, one of the very few and most desirable early letters with this very rare postmark.
