United States #65, 1861 3c Rose, used on envelope from the Confederacy via Nassau to New Brunswick, Canada and endorsed "Via New York", cancelled at Nassau by "A05" barred oval with, on reverse, matching neat "Bahamas" double arc datestamp on February 13, 1865, the stamp being additionally tied by large "postage not paid" notation in red crayon, nevertheless with no other charges being shown, slight soiling affecting the adhesive and not detracting, another interesting example of the scarce Blockade-run mail, this being infrequently cancelled in transit in Bahamas; 1994 P.F. certificate.
