Internal Island Mail carried by a slave, endorsed "Pr. Tom Torrans", dated March 17, 1819 from mother to daughter and sent from "Luana" to Kingston, Tom Torrans being the slave of a friend of the writer, with the letter including: "Mr. John Tomlinson's servant going to Town, my dear Mary, gives me an opportunity of forwarding a parcel with Indian Arrow Root which Mrs. Senior sent for you", another rare slave-carried letter.
