#70b, 24c Steel blue, a highly select example of this rare and terribly difficult mint stamp, being the beneficiary of a number of physical characteristics seldom found converging on a single copy, including being unusually well centered within generous margins, which allow the perforations to clear the design all around, a rare feat for a mint example of this rare classic, plus its color is wonderfully fresh and could not be more representative of this early printing shade, in addition the impression is strong and the paper is crisp and clean, with full perforations surrounding the whole, while its reverse is even more impressive as it reveals full clean original gum that has been relatively light hinged, very fine and choice; serious collectors of mint nineteenth century stamps will immediately recognize the rarity of such a premium quality example; 2001 PF certificate;
