1858 (Sept.) envelope to Sydney, bearing 1857-67 2d. yellow-green (defective) and 4d. blue (cut into), cancelled by unclear obliterator and showing manuscript "G Town, 4/9/58" alongside with, on reverse, diamond shaped "post office/launceston" d.s. in red and "ship letter/sydney" c.d.s.; envelope with slight damage on reverse caused through opening.
