2d. specialised collection of plate flaws, varieties and retouched stamps neatly mounted and written-up on twenty-five pages, comprising blue early printings from the damaged state (9), plate damage, varieties and flaws in blue (35, one on cover) and orange/vermilion (36, three no watermark and two watermark "nz"), and retouches in blue (98 with a few multiples and three on covers) and in orange-vermilion (115 with a few multiples including a strip of three cancelled "W" and a block of four cancelled "15", four on covers, twenty-four with no watermark and seven watermark "nz"); condition mixed in places though a generally fine lot with viewing recommended
