1872 (6 Aug.) envelope ex the "Nuttall" correspondence to Manchester, marked "per Lagos S/S", showing mainly fine "paid/at/lagos" Crowned circle with "b/lagos" c.d.s. alongside, red crayon "5" over "2/7", straight-line "registered" h.s., "paid/liverpool/br. packet/4e" c.d.s. (3.9) and "registered/liverpool" double-ring d.s., both in red, and arrival datestamp on reverse. Neat and attractive. Photo
