1869 (28 Nov.) envelope to Edinburgh, showing red crayon "6", the unique "gold coast/paid" c.d.s. in red (apparently hand carved) and "paid/liverpool/ br. packet" c.d.s. (20.12) with Edinburgh (20.12) and Murrayfield (21.12) transit and arrival c.d.s. on reverse. Choice quality, and the only recorded example of this postmark. Photo
