1840 (20 Aug.-2 Nov.) twenty-seven entire letters or envelopes each bearing 1d., mostly with four margins, all addressed to Miss Atherstone (23) or Edwin Atherstone (4) in London (one addressed to Liverpool) from their father Edwin Atherstone, an art dealer, on his sales tour around England. From Birmingham (3), Cheltenham (2), Derby, Leamington, Liverpool (4), Manchester (9), Nottingham (2), Wolverhampton (3) and one unknown; also 1840 1d., EI, plate IV, even margins all round, unused (not guaranteed).
