1891 (23 Feb.) Visit of the Duke of York ½d., 1d., 2½d., 4d., 6d. and perf. 12½ 5/-, each locally surcharged "9d" in black, fresh mint with the 1d. unusually showing small part of a c.d.s. from the date stamped set. A very rare set.. Photo

Note: Five sets of stamps and postal stationery were surcharged "9d", one of which was date stamped. One set was presented to the Duke of York and remains in the Royal Philatelic Collection. Three were subsequently donated to be sold for charity
