1871-78 perf. 11½, 3d. pale red-brown vertical pair, variety imperforate horizontally, both cancelled by "tasmania" in oval of bars and with light datestamps; roughly separated at top and foot as to be expected with an item of this nature. Exceptionally rare, only one used example recorded by Gary Diffen in his article on Tasmanian errors that appeared in the June 2014 edition of Philately from Australia. R.P.S. Certificate (1941).
