1865 Watermark Elephants Head ½a. pale blue block of forty (8x5), being the top five rows of a lower pane with interpanneau margin at top showing floral border and full sheet margins at sides with marginal inscriptions, large part original gum, a used block of sixteen (8x2) cancelled "C/131" (Aleppy) and a used horizontal strip of eight cancelled by Bombay "1" duplex, 8a carmine block of twenty (4x5) with several "Stamped" handstamps and cancelled by Bombay Paid "1", a block of twelve in a contrasting shade with several "Stamped" handstamps in blue and Bengal obliterators in the same colour. Also 1866 two entires ex the same correspondence from Calcutta to Port Louis Mauritius, one bearing 1a. and 2a. the other 2a., both showing "6D/to pay" in blue, 1881 letter to Port Louis bearing 1a. strip of three twice handstamped "Stamped" and with fine "ship letter" handstamp. A few small faults though an interesting group
