A collection of the double circle, type D1 c.d.s. on adhesives which includes a good selection of Chalon heads from 1861-62 1d. and 6d., 1872 c.d.s. on 6d. showing inverted "2" in date, on 1875 1/-, 1883 1d. orange, 1883 key-type values to 1/-; also some single-ring c.d.s. Condition is typically mixed. A good collection. Ex Messenger. Also 1905 picture postcard bearing K.E.VII ½d. (a second stamp missing) tied by the single-circle c.d.s.. (31 plus cover)
