An extensive and valuable specialised collection on leaves which includes Specimen type D12 in horizontal strip of three for ½d., both 1d., 1½d., 2d. orange, 2½d. blue, grey and bright blue, 6d. dull and bright purple (½d., 1d. carmine-red, 2d., 2½d. blue and 6d. are in lower right corner strips showing the plate number; which was normally trimmed off); Specimen type D16 in rejoined pairs to make blocks of four with 2d. grey, 2½d. bright blue (pair only), 3d. purple on orange, 4d., 5d., 6d. black and carmine, 9d., both 1/-, 2/-, 2/6d. (perf. Specimen), 3/-, 5d. and 10/- (plus additional pair and strip of three), the blocks ex Koh-i-Noor; mint stamps with all values in blocks of four, some additional shades and used blocks with values to 5/- and singles to 10/-.
