1859 (25 Sept.) wrapper with part letter from William McEwan to Glasgow bearing 6d. deep lilac wing-margin strip of four neatly cancelled "A15" with London Paid transit alongside (18.10), the reverse with a light strike of the type 5 c.d.s. with code "C" inverted and Glasgow arrival; some vertical folding creases, two affecting the adhesives.
