Middle East Forces 1942 (16 July) censored airmail envelope from Asmara to Durban, bearing 1942 (2 Mar.) Type M1 3d., Type M2 square stops 2½d. and 5d. vertical pair with Types 2 and 2a se-tenant, all cancelled by Asmara c.d.s., censored at source with Crowned "548" handstamp in violet and subsequently with Italian label, Asmara Railway transit c.d.s. (17.7) on reverse; the envelope with tear at upper left and across flap, and minor faults in places though an exceptional franking with the 5d. se-tenant pair. B.P.A. Certificate (2012). S.G.
