1840-1969 mint and used collection, beautifully presented in a small loose leaf album, including 1840 1d. black (3), and 2d. blue (2), fine used, later line engraved including imperf. 2d blues (3), 1d. reds including an example on piece with Edinburgh star cancellation, 1847-54 Embossed 1/-, 10d., 6d., surface printed issues with 1855-57 4d. (3, including blued glazed paper) 1862-64 9d., 1/-, 1867-70 9d., 10d., and 2/-, 1867-83 5/- with superb regent street c.d.s., 1873 4d. watermark Garter fresh mint (trimmed wing margin), 1880-81 ½d. to 5d. set mint and used, 1880-83 set used, with 3d. on 3d. and 6d. on 6d. unused, 1883 lilac and green set used, then 1887 and 1902 Jubilee sets mint. Better four Kings material including 1912-24 KGV set mint, Seahorses to 10/-, the album finishing with a range of Empire classics, including mint Victorian ranges from Hong Kong, Canada, India and Malaya. Condition slightly mixed in places but mostly very fine, a charming album in a lovely state of preservation
