An old-time accumulation housed in a small stockbook, two tins, box and loose in envelopes/packets, contained in a carton, including Q.V. with 1858-79 1d. plates, K.E.VII heavily duplicated stock to 6d., mostly with good colours and neat cancellations, newspaper stamps; postal history with 1840 1d. on entire letter addressed to Milnthorpe, 1841 1d. correspondence to Ayr (20), registered stationery envelopes some uprated; also "The Stamps of Great Britain" by Seymour (1950). A very interesting lot well worth careful examination. (thousands)
