1843 (30 April) entire from Aden to Liverpool, carried by the Ship Harriet Scoll, endorsed "pr overland Mail via Falmouth" with a superb strike in emerald green of the excessively rare small double ring "india/f", which was only used on mail not going to or via London; fine. It is believed that this is the finest of only 4 or 5 examples of this rare marking existing in private hands. A highly important Exhibition centre piece. Photo
