1888 (11 June) envelope ex the Pennefather correspondence to Bristol, bearing 1888 6d. cancelled by "eshowe" double-ring datestamp in violet, upon arrival redirected to Weymouth with part Clifton, Bristol duplex and circular-framed "1d" redirection fee, the reverse with Lower Tugela (11.6), Durban (12.6), and Clifton (12.7) c.d.s.; minor faults at top through opening though a rare cancellation used in violet for only three months.
