Telegraphs: Mint and used specialised collection on pages, containing complete telegraph dispatch forms (2), described by Sefi and Mortimer as being "of considerable rarity", the first ( illustrated in their 1937 Book) franked with strips of three 1a. and three 2a. stamps dated 1889, 1 Rupee Forgeries (3, including a pair apparently used), used whole examples of most values with complete ringed c.d.s (9), including (7) on pieces of telegraph forms, the remainder of the collection containing a detailed study of usage, papers, and varieties. Some toning, nevertheless a fascinating highly specialised collection. (80, +2 forms)

Note: The write up and manuscript notes on these pages demonstrate with a high level of certainty that these pages formed part of the collection of C.H. Mortimer, author (with A.J. Sefi) of The Stamps of Jammu-Kashmir (1937). According the foreword of the above, Mortimer 'purchased the Sefi collection and enriched it with many of the gems from the Masson and other collections.
