1884 (19 Sept.) envelope registered locally to the Captain of an Italian ship "Francesco Luca" at Gibraltar, bearing 1883 ½d. and 2½d., both cancelled with worn "A26" and showing Registered oval d.s. at upper left corner, undelivered and showing manuscript "Left Gibraltar, address unknown" in red ink below, the reverse with a fine strike of the Italian Consulate in Gibraltar Arms cachet in blue; most unusual.
