1843 (26 May) wrapper addressed to attorneys in Ely Place, Holborn bearing 1841 1d. red-brown (mixed margins) tied by London Chief Office Maltese Cross, with a good strike of the large letters "H:P" (Houses of Parliament) handstamp in red and showing the despatch datestamp on the reverse. A horizontal folding crease and signed "F.L. Austen Esq." at foot. Rare use of this handstamp after the London Twopenny Post period, for which these handstamps were designed. Willcocks & Jay 560a.
