(Type B) vertical pair with 3m. and 2m. and 3m. vertical pairs, used on 1905, 1906 and 1907 large envelopes from Khartoum c.d.s. to The Financial Secretary, War Office, Cairo and showing arrival datestamps on reverse. Also 898 (12 June) soldier's envelope to London, headed "No 2910 J. Moen 1st Lincolnshire Batt", bearing 1p. tied by Darmali c.d.s., and 1898 (21 July) envelope to Coventry, headed "From 4336 Pte C. Pollard E Coy 1st Batt Warwick Reg", bearing 2m. and 3m. tied by Halfa c.d.s., both soiled, and 1921 5m. stationery envelope to London, 1926 photographic picture postcard to Oxford bearing 5m. pair and an undateable picture postcard to USA bearing 1m. (2), 3m. and 5m. with, on picture side, 1m., 2m., 3m. and 4m., all clearly cancelled by "retta", also three loose adhesives
