1942-44 War Effort Bantam Issue
A mint collection neatly mounted and arranged on thirty-one pages and contained in a maroon Godden de-Luxe album, nearly all in multiples arranged by printing and mostly marginal, a number of varieties including 1d. unit with roulettes omitted (thinned), 1d. block of three units with roulettes misplaced, 1½d. selection of units with double roulettes, 1½d. marginal pair (stains) with roulettes omitted, 2d. range with misplaced perforations and a marginal pair with albino print, 2d. apostrophe and line on cap flaws, 3d. marginal unit with unit with under-inked slogans, 6d. corner block of four units with marginal inscription encroaching on to stamps, 1/- bursting shell in two corner blocks, 1/- missing background on marginal or corner pairs of units, etc. also a further mint and used selection on stock leaves; generally fine and an interesting lot of these fascinating stamps
