1d. and 2d. imperforate plate proof marginal matching blocks of four with full gum, and singles both affixed to card with printer's label, the 1d. marked "Colour as proof which has no back ground to portrait which was enclosed in NZ letter of 19.7.45" and later "Approved", initialled and dated "25/7/45", the 2d. marked "Approved" initialled and dated "7.8.45"
