A comprehensive mint collection neatly mounted and written-up on over ninety pages and offered in two deep blue Godden de Luxe albums together with a range of additional items, including some Officials, arranged on Hagner sheets and other pages; the collection commences with a fine range of perforation varieties in singles and is replete with a large range of plate blocks of four or larger, watermark varieties, re-entries, blurred centres and other flaws and includes the following: 1d. single watermark Parisian booklet panes of six (2, one with watermark inverted) and multiple watermark booklet panes (3); 2d. multiple watermark corner blocks of six (4) showing various states of the "Tekoteko" re-entry, 1941 printed and perforated by De La Rue 2A and 2B plate blocks of four, printed by De La Rue and perforated by Waterlow 2A and 2B plate blocks of four; 2½d. corner blocks of four (3) with plate cracks, various plate blocks with burelé bands; 4d. strips of ten (6) showing two plate numbers, blocks showing "Mitre" retouch and later plate scratches and perf. 14x14½ corner block of six with double print, one albino; 5d. single watermark, perf. 13½x14 plate block of four, multiple watermark perf. 12½ printed and perforated by Waterlow plate block of four and a marginal block of four showing "shift" marking, 1942 printed by De La Rue and perforated by Waterlow plate 1 and 2 blocks of four, 1942 (Nov.) Plate 2 blocks of four showing "spotted" state and Plate 2 top and bottom five rows of a sheets, divided into blocks of ten, showing "spotted" state; 6d. single watermark Plate 1 blocks of four (2) one showing plate crack at plate number, multiple watermark Plate 1 block of twelve and a single showing plate crack at plate number, 1942 printed and perforated by De La Rue Plate 2 block of four with re-entry; 8d. single watermark lower right corner block of eight (2x4) with letter watermark; 9d. 1936 multiple watermark sideways, top and side marginal blocks of four showing one bar, 1938 inverted watermark (2), marginal block of four with serial number and a lower left corner block of eight with two bars, 1941 smaller size, single watermark "arrow" block of four and a used single with inverted watermark, multiple watermark corner/marginal blocks of four (4) or eight (2) with bars; 1/- single watermark plate block of four; 2/- single watermark, perf. 14x13½ plate block, multiple watermark, perf. 13-14x13½ plate block, 1942 printed by De La Rue, perforated by Waterlow, perf. 12½ plate block and a strip of three with plate number, horizontal pair with variety treble print, two albino (no gum), several other blocks with various re-entries and "coqk" flaw (four different, one perf. 13½x14 and perf. 13¾x13½ contained in a marginal block of six); 3/- 1941 printed and perforated by Waterlow plate number corner pair, 1942 perf. 13¾x13½ and perf. 14½x13½ plate blocks, 1942 perf. 13¾x13½ marginal block showing "1299-1, 1200-1" plate marks, and 1942 perf. 14¼x13½ range of blocks with re-entries in various states; nearly all fine and a wonderful lot for the specialist of this attractive issue
