1948-48 50c. black on emerald made from the 1c., fourteen single examples affixed to piece to give the appearance of multiples, tied by indistinct Singapore datestamps to piece which also bears genuine Singapore 10c. vertical pair and shows oval cachet of National City Bank of New York, Singapore; a few missing perfs or minor scuffs, otherwise a fine and rare piece.
