Note: The stamp offered above is accompanied by a 1990 letter from Empire Stamp Auctions giving details of when a pair was submitted to them for auction. The right-hand example, which had a large part Kampala 1948 datestamp, was offered in one of their auctions and as the buyer did not want to buy the left-hand stamp it was offered to Graham Cooper on a private treaty basis
