Edward III (1327-77), Farthings (2), Berwick-on-Tweed, Blunt VIIIb, 0.26g, edwardvs ang, rev. vil lab erv ici, pellet after vil, boar’s head in first and third quarters, 0.31g, edwardvs d gr rev. boar’s head in second and fourth quarters (N.1094; S.1539; Stewartby p. 181; NC 2004, pl.28/9, 10 these coins ), both from poorly executed dies, the first cracked on a full flan, nearly very fine, the second flat in parts, otherwise very fine, both rare (2)
