Henry IV (1399-1413), Heavy coinage, Quarter-Noble, 1.75g, mm. cross pattée, hen/ric’• dei• gra• rex• angl• fr•, trefoil stops, shield with new French arms, crescent above, within tressure, trefoils on cusps, rev. exaltabitvr in gloria, saltire stops, cross fleury, lis at centre, all within tressure (N.1344/1357; S.1713/1717; Schneider -; Stewartby 3), has been clipped, good fine, extremely rare

Although attributed to the light coinage in the early catalogues due to the lis in the centre of the reverse, the clipped weight at 27gr makes this heavy coinage. A coin from the same obverse die is seen in BNJ vol. XXVIII, pl.XXV/18
