Edward III (1327-77), Half-Noble, 3.10g, fourth coinage, Pre-Treaty period, series Gh, mm. -/cross pattée, [ ] dei g rex aiigl [ ], king standing, facing with sword and shield in ship, rev. +domine ne [ ], ornate cross, e at centre, trefoil, lion and crown in each angle, one crown with a pellet either side, eight-arc tressure, trefoils in spandrels (N.1188v; S.1494; Schneider -; Stewartby Gh), heavily clipped but fine, very unusual with pellets beside crown on the reverse
